The Airport

OK! so today i leave... currently i am sitting in JFK terminal 1 gate 1... i am about to get on my plane well in about 30 min... so yeah... it hasn't been a easy trip so far... Start this morning... I wake up... Finish packing my carry on... take a shower, go downstairs... cant find ipod... find it under my bed... not sure how that happened... ok here is where it gets fun.... right as we are walking out the door... Harwood Union Highschool calls... Ethan ( my younger brother).... he got a door to the face and now has a gash that needs stitches in his forehead... well my dad picks him up from school, and my grandmother and i are on our way to the airport.

Well it turns out that my dad is going to be brining him to Fletcher Allen .... its about 11 and my flight leaves at 13:30... we have decied it would be best for me to be checked in and everything by 12:30.... well the plan was to go to lunch as a family... we were to meet at 11.... well we met at 11... but at the emergency room .... we say our good byes... ( ethan is fine... now has a glued up forehead... ) well we get to the airport... my flight is delayed... my mom says that we should grab lunch at the airport... well we go up to the restaurant... right after we order, they changed our flight and it is the final boarding call.... i still need to get through security... well i make it... i had to run ( full on sprint) to the gate, where i was the last one on the plane...

It was a good flight from Burlington to New York.... Now i am sitting listing to 3 business men talking about the best types of tequila... a group of old people who i am assuming are going to Morocco... and elderly ( asumming Moroccan) woman sitting sort of down a few seats looking in amazement at my laptop. now i am just waiting.... at 3am in the morning ( VT time) i will be in Casablanca Morocco.... Its crazy to think... what have i gotten myself into....

Setting up my blog, and getting ready to leave

OK! So here it is, I have been asked by a whole bunch of people to set up a blog. Here it is!

I am now in the like packing stage of this trip. Today I went with my mom to Burlington, and we got pretty much everything I need. Its sort of funny, we were talking about how much less stuff i am bringing with me to Morocco than I did to Germany.

This is my Rough Travel plan. I will fly from Burlington to JFK in New York City, then fly directly to Casablanca. From there a Projects-Abroad person will meet me I guess and bring me to Rabat. I will be in the Medina. which is an old part of the city where cars are not allowed because the streets are to narrow. I am really excited
